Glad It's working out great for you. what you're saying is that if you turn the gyro on the aileron down enough, the aircraft has no choice but to compensate with larger rudder throws in order to turn?
I live in WA btw and do almost all of my flying there.
Yesterday a semi jumped the guard rail in the gorge and was hit by an oncoming train. Traffic was backed up pretty good as BNR WORKED TO CLEAN THE DEBRIS and i pulled over behind a grove and scouted out the scene with a hobby king z-84 wing. It was a practical use : ) of the tech. It would have been better if i had a downward facing keychain cam tho.

dang, that is pretty sweet! Although I must say that I have slowed down considerably with the SAR project. I didn't realize how difficult it would be! Also winter is upon us so there is no weather for flying. I will start back up in the spring.

Hey I just read your post that you applied at Cloud Cap. And got a phone call...I'm assuming to set up an interview? Very cool! I work at Cloud Cap. I'm an engineering technician here. This is an awesome place to work! I love my job and am very happy with the work environment, culture, benefits. It's all very awesome.

Good luck and hope you get the job! It would be cool to have another fellow FPV'er in the area!
  4. Thanks for coming out during the initial attempt. It all worked out after i got back and managed to fly out to the prairie overlook around 2 K's away. Was tempted to keep flying out to Ft Casey but maybe on the next flight. It didn't even use nearly half the lipo's capacity, even after 13 1/2 minutes of flying.
