I just use jewellery silver coated copper wire from a hobby/craft store. I have used 1mm thick wire of the same wire to make 2.4ghz and it works well. Doesn't need to be stiffer unless you crash a lot onto your antennas. They hold out soft crashes ... I know as I have done that The rp-sma cables can be had for cheap here. http://www.ebay.de/itm/150590703162?...#ht_2689wt_907 You can get sma type at the same shop. They have right angled ones as well. http://www.ebay.de/itm/160582124430?...#ht_2846wt_907
Hey James, got a quick question about the cp antennas you made: Which wire did you use for your antennas and where did you buy it? My local electronic store in darmstadt has copper wire only. IBCrazy suggests to use welding wire but right now i have no idea where to get it. As i am going for 2.4ghz i need something stiffer i think. Greetings Michael
