Hi Skylark,
I was checking out the website today and noticed some info on a Dianmu OSD and saw that it has some similar features to the Standard IV.
I was wondering if it will have a simple mode layout option that is similar to the Tiny III/ Trace III and also if it will have PPM input.
Also, what is the current rating for the 12V dc power supply?
Thanks,
Pat
P.S.
I bet you would have a seriously nice OSD if it was basically the Tiny III simple mode layout, plus AHI and RTH and priced somewhere in between the Trace III and Standard IV.

It has 3 mode(Full/simple/warning), support PWM input.

Thanks for the infographic comparing features. Since the Standard IV already has the normal screen, will the Dianmu get the simple style screen? You'll see that the majority of people generally change to the simple style immediately upon installation of their Tiny/Trace OSD's.
Something like this maybe:

Thank you for your advice, we are in the process of evaluating the feature.

If you are taking requests :) please put gps coords on the summary screen. The ONLY reason I'm not flying simple screen is because I can't see GPS coords anywhere on the simple screen+summary. There have been several instances where other brand OSD's have made aircraft recovery simple because gps coords were available after a planes fail-safed into trees.

Completely agree!
Showing GPS coords on the screen already saved me from a lot of situations!

Just got one today, looks good BUT :-)
the Vtx, cam, power 12V and 5V , ground and audio, have one cable with special plug on both ends. I think this requires cutting off one end and splicing the wires accordingly. Not a biggie but takes some time.
Wish I had the time to play with it but will have to wait few days because of the plug issue :-((
Then again for $ 200.00 I was expecting basically plug and play stuff.
So thats my first impression :-(
Once I get the connections done, will post another findings.

Because each manufacturer have different port, a unified standard can't be formed in a short time, so we cannot provide a 'plug and play' cable for all camera/VTX.
But the wiring is very simple, please consult the connection diagram.

I don't think I closed it, but it may have been a mistake. I just opened it. If Skylark intended to close it, then I'll leave it alone. Not my call... lol Sorry either way!
I answered in the other thread to keep it all in one place. :)
