Skylark AAT + convert module can work with FY 31AP + HORNET

@LAWMATE 1.2
In theory, no problem
For now, we haven't received the feedback about LAWMATE 1.2, so we can't guarantee they are 100% compatible.

Do you have a diagram specific to the FY31-AP and Hornet OSD connection? If so please direct me.

I have had issues with the Lawmate 1.2 1 watt version. It would muffle the audio signal and thus damage the stream to the ATT. It was the MFD ATT but none the less, I would be leery of some of the models of Lawmate. After I switched over to RMRC 400mw 1.2 vtx all problems went away. Issues with lawmate audio are know to be had.

Oh, and hey there Hallmark! What a small internet it is!

A properly setup plane can have great audio at 1w or more. Now w/ that said -- there is really no point in using a 1w vTx - especially w/ the known issues that the 1w LM has (although it's quiet easily to get it setup w/ Skylark AAT and have rock solid audio). TBS 40+ miles on 500mw - and I (and others) have gone past 20 miles w/ 500mw Lawmate gear.

In this particular case there may be no other option. The 500mW 1.2GHz Lawmate does not have 1280MHz; the 1W version is the only US-legal one.

I love the legal arguments that people make - a million people with a 500mw 433mHz LRS with no HAM license (which TECHNICALLY is not supposed to be used for aircraft control even w/ a license) - but when it comes to vTx people want to "be legal". :) Guess we gotta do what we can huh? :)

November 8 Foxtrot Papa Victor.

Besides, it's not just the question of legality, it's the question of availability. Most reputable shops (being the key word here) won't ship unlicensed stuff to the USA. Yes, you can get it, but you'll be waiting on the china boat. In the case of Lawmate, unless you find someone that'll ship one to the US, you're stuck with 1W for 1280.
