Hi all well as the title says this is my build diary of my Fpv Manuals Delrin Tricopter v1.2.
Ive been into Rc Models for years and flown a fair bit but im very new to Multirotors..

Ive been following David (RC Explorer) for many years watching his FPV experiments and build logs and i always fancied a go at it so here i am..
I looked around for a kit to build when i stummbled upon Fpv Manuals Tricopter kit.. and after watching the videos and reading the reviews i knew it was the kit for me.
So i pestered Tim for when i could get my hands on one here in UK.

My order placed and it arrived last week ready for my build, as did my package from HK.

So here goes the first bit....

Be kind..:o

Heres my HK stuff..

Well i got it all wired up and working managed to program board , Esc's and activate board..
The motors spun up nicely and seemed to be configured right as just at that point..... PUFF!!!

Smoke bellowed out of a Esc!!! :(
So ive had to strip it all down to see whats what..
It turns out on of them must be faulty as everyhting seems to be ok,.
Ive ordered another one which hopefully will be here tomorrow....
But my nice neat design of wires running through booms has changed to outside like others ive seen... saves having to strip it all down again.. ill post more pics tomorrow...

What you think..

Looks great! I just started my new build this week. I am using servo braid to "hide" the motor wires. ;)
