Hey guys,

Here is a link to some big news in the sUAS world. As some of you know, there is a major battle going on when it comes to writing the rules and regulations and industry standards for integrating small unmanned aircraft into the NAS (National Air Space). Some of you may think that these dont apply to you. I have posted links to the FAA website that basically states their position and definition of our "model airplanes" and the Feds do in fact consider them sUAS. There are many people that are trying to represent the "little guy" and help create regs that wont be too restrictive or costly for the commercial operator. Here is what all the buz is about. The FAA has appointed one of the founding members of Aerovironmet to the ASTM f-38 to be Chairman of the Board.
Being his company is the largest maker of sUAS for the govt. We believe this is a really bad thing as the little guy is not being represented at all..
