PYLE PLVHR75 7-Inch TV good picture but has VIDEO MUTE

Seeking a portable TV w/o video mute but still has good quality.

The PYLE PLVHR75 7-Inch TV (http://www.amazon.com/PYLE-PLVHR75-7-Inch-Headrest-Monitor/dp/B0009SURMY) for $55 on Amazon looks good, 12V power and small form factor would fit well on a tripod or into the lid of a case.

However it does have video mute. It turns on automatically quick when video signal is applied and also tunes in quicker then others. I don't have a TX to test signal degradation yet but suspect it would recover quicker then others.

If you want a decent 7" screen with no video mute, get one of these: Phillips 7" (http://www.ebay.com/itm/150642773051?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649) screens off of eBay. The link I posted is a bunch of them for $31 with free shipping, but I've seen them for $25 or so. They also make them in a 9" version that doesn't have video mute either. They have brightness/volume controls on the bottom and run on 9-12v dc and a really good picture. I have the 9" ones in my truck for my kiddo and bought a 7" for fpv use.

They come out of a 2 screen headrest dvd player set and the one you want is the second screen that doesn't have the dvd player in it.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't find any right now other than the new sets for $150.

Try searching "Philips headrest 9" next week on eBay maybe. They're much harder to find than the 7" ones.
