Hi,
here is a flight from this morning south of Boulder, CO to an unusual rock formation called the Devil's Thumb at the beginning of the Rockies called the Flatirons. Lots of rotor turbulence until the close pass of the Thumb. About a 8 mile rt run with a 3-4000ft elev gain to about 9000ft. Nice fall colors on the trees and a beautiful day!
Enjoy,
Mike
