I ordered this guy. I'm not happy that it doesn't come in just RR or PNP yet. Guess I'll have another crappy Tx to steal gimbals / electronics from in the future. The best place I found for price was www.rchobbyexplosion.com (http://www.rchobbyexplosion.com) It's in the same class as the EZ (see my lab in the Pilot's Lab) but may be a tad bit better at heavy lift w/ the proper motor - and it APPEARS to be much better at folding a wing if that's not addressed. I see this guy as a quick toss-up, non OSD "short-range" platform.

THE PROWLER RTF GLIDER AIRPLANE
Just look at the Prowler and the phrase "evolution-of-flight" comes to mind. And in so many ways, this statement truly applies. This isn't one of those designs that went from the drawing board, directly into manufacture, as is the case with so many other model airplane designs. From its "T"-tail design, which puts the horizontal stabilizer up out of the wake of the main wing, to its streamlined conical fuselage, the Prowler is a study in low-drag/high-lift refinement. All of which adds up to smooth performance and optimized flight duration. The combination of maximized lift and minimized drag is derived from Prowler's under cambered polyhedral wing. Simply put, nothing was overlooked when it came to designing its stability and grace. From the inception, and throughout the stages of prototype refinement and testing, Megatech designers kept one directive in mind. "Product the most efficient and easy to fly model possible... then deliver it ready-to-fly!"

This is the first time I've seen that one... ;) It doesn't look too bad, but kinda small at 31.5" WS. If I had to guess, I'd say it will be good on a (relatively) calm day with a light system on it!

I never received it. I then called RCHobbyExplosion complaining - but made myself look like a jackass bc even though I went through the site to order it, I was never charged ( I thought I was - but they never charged me - which is why I never got it - LOL). I may revisit the idea bc I like smaller rigs that can fit in the car easily.

I'm sure I'll still get it in the future. The 1st thing we do w/ our models is rip 'em apart and install what SHOULD have came in it anyway. LOL.
